History

Welcome! Horizon Church was planted in Ellerslie, Auckland in August 1996 by Tim & Xenia Stevenson. Our beliefs and methodology are based firmly in the Bible plus nothing and minus nothing. The church was started in their home and has since changed venues four times due to the growth that has taken place. God has blessed the work to a point where we now have more than 400 adults and children attending.

Horizon Church is not independent nor are we denominational. We are a local autonomous church accountable to, and in relationship with, a translocal apostolic team. This team, consisting of over 200 men and women, is called New Covenant Ministries International (NCMI) and is led by Tyrone Daniel. Read More
