Eldership Team

We believe that the church needs to be led by leaders. It is our Biblical conviction that the church is to be governed by a team of elders, who together with the deacons, bring leadership to the church. We also believe that it is essential for this leadership team to gain the perspective of the congregation on issues of importance. We believe that it is a biblically established precedent for elders to be appointed as servants of God, and servant-leaders of His people to guide, guard and govern in the local church. We do not have a church "council" or "committee" or "elected board", etc.

We believe that God's ordained leaders are to lead as they humble themselves under the leading and guidance of God's Holy Spirit and the established precedent of Scripture. We are committed to honour God's giftings to His church according to scripture and to walk in open mutual accessibility and accountability. As an eldership team our intent is to maintain the flow of spontaneous and vibrant church life in the local body.
